Alexander is an abstract artist working in the reductive tradition. He graduated from Penza State University of Architecture and Construction and in 2021 entered the TOP 100 of the AD Russia Design Award.

His practice turns to geometric and organic abstraction, examining how form, colour and line act on one another. The works are built on repetition, monochrome and elementary form.

Seriality, minimalism and plain, "clean" materials are characteristic. Alexander gives particular attention to precision of execution, controlling every stage of an object's making. All works are produced in limited series.

He seeks to deconstruct complex meanings down to spare forms, building new visual narratives, and combines traditional craft techniques with digital technology, working in plywood, steel and glass.

His pieces are sculptures and objects that engage a space and shape a particular environment of perception, in which the viewer is left free to interpret.
