Vasily Fortov & Sofia Ivonina

Vasily Fortov and Sofia Ivonina are monumental artists who have worked as a duo since 2011. Together they realise projects in monumental art — from private commissions and work within artists' guilds to their own initiatives in sacred and secular architecture.

They exhibit regularly in Moscow and across Russia. In their studio on Sretensky Boulevard they develop designs and projects and produce mosaic work.

Their practice is not confined to the applied arts: they also work in drawing and painting, extending the range of their language.

Their work is held in private collections in Russia and abroad.
