Anna Vladimirskaya

Anna Vladimirskaya is an abstract painter. She was born in 1989 in Fergana, Uzbekistan, into the family of a military pilot, and grew up in the Astrakhan region.
She drew from childhood and finished art school in 2004. She trained as an architect at Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in architectural environment design, graduating with distinction in 2013. In 2012 she took first place in an international drawing competition.
She worked in architectural practices and took part in the design of public spaces, including the Shchuka restaurant — a contemporary art-nouveau building that became a landmark in the historic part of Astrakhan.
In 2015 she moved to St Petersburg, combining architecture with painting. From 2017 she turned entirely to her artistic practice, developing her own technique in acrylic. She has lived and worked in Moscow since 2019.
Anna's work is published regularly in Elle Decoration. Since 2022 she has taken part in the annual Art Russia contemporary art fair. Her work is held in private collections in Russia and Europe.
