About the work

Blocks is about an inner landscape built on contrasts.

"I am looking at the moments of equilibrium between density and emptiness, between control and letting go.

This is not an image of external architecture so much as an internal diagram — an attempt to see how an experience turns into form and settles as a stable layer of the psyche.

Every significant experience — emotionally charged, narratively important — compacts over time. It stops being an event and becomes a structure. If you picture the psyche as a space, dense formations appear inside it: blocks of memory. They can take up a great deal of room, affect how you move, constrain you or, on the contrary, become something to lean on. Out of such dense fragments our inner architecture is gradually assembled."
